As part of its 2024 US presidential election coverage, France 24 in English will offer a live retransmission of the CBS News Vice Presidential Debate between Ohio Republican Senator JD Vance and Minnesota's Democratic Governor Tim Walz. Broadcast to a global audience, the CBS News Vice Presidential Debate Simulcast on France 24’s English channel will begin at 3 am Paris time on the night of October 1 into October 2.

After the retransmission, France 24 correspondents anchored in the US, as well as guests and columnists in the Paris studio, will dissect and analyse the highlights of the exchange.
