On Monday, March 22nd , France 24’s Observers broadcast the seventh edition of “Truth or Fake”. Each year, they offer viewers a longer version of the show debunking fake news in four languages.

This year, France 24’s Observers, in partnership with the CLEMI (French media and information literacy center), visited four French schools to answer students’ questions about misinformation and give them advice on how to differentiate reliable news from fakes.

“Truth or fake” is widely used in classrooms and gives viewers, Internet users, students and teachers tools to fact check rumors online. It explains the difference between information, lies and propaganda using concrete examples.
