France 24’s show on the intricacies of life in France continues its culinary road-trip with a stop in Lyon, the country’s capital of gastronomy.

 

France 24’s journalists Florence Villeminot and Genie Godula explore Lyon’s culinary specialities and take viewers to discover the typical “bouchon” restaurant that serves local specialties. The journalists also go to the establishment of revered French chef Paul Bocuse, who passed away in 2018 and get a lesson in how to cook frog legs from Olivier Couvin, the Michelin starred chef who’s continuing Bocuse’s legacy today.
