Tunisia's Constitutional Referendum

Tunisians will go to the polls on July 25th to vote on an amended constitution which increases the powers of the President, more than ten years after the Arab Spring revolt in 2011. On this occasion, France 24’s four channels in French, in English, in Arabic and in Spanish will provide special coverage throughout the day.
 
France 24’s correspondents Andrew Hilliar (en), Karim Yahiaoui (fr), Lilia Blaise (fr), Taoufik Mjaied (ar) and Mohammed Farhat (ar) will be in Tunisia, reporting on the referendum. 
 
The four channels will broadcast reports in their news bulletins, detailing what’s at stake, and have an in-depth look at civil society issues, the opposition, and the country’s economy and the media.  
 
  • On July 25th and 26th, the French, English, Arabic and Spanish channels provide special editions presented by Andrew Hilliar (en), Lilia Blaise (fr), Karim Yahiaoui (fr), Taoufik Mjaied and Mohamed Farhat (ar).
  • On July 26th from 7.10pm* to 7.45pm*, France 24 in Arabic offers a special edition in Tunis, presented by Taoufik Mjaied.
  • On social medias, the editorial teams bring comprehensive articles and exclusive developments from Tunisia by Sabra Mansar and Medhi Chebil.
